| Q. |
What is the goal of this website? |
| A. |
You know the saying "It's a small world!"? Well we want to see just how small a world it really is. Around the World in 90 Days (ATWI90D) is a community project to see how many countries we can visit in 90 days. You can help us accomplish this goal by sending your friends (especially if they live in different countries!) a link to this website. Check back often to see which countries we've counted! |

| Q. |
How are you keeping track of the countries you are visiting? |
| A. |
We are recording country data and locating you by using your IP address. As soon as you visit ATWI90D, we plot a dot on the world map. However, your specific location won't actually be 'counted' in the running totals unless you enter it yourself (get counted!). When you enter your city and country, it helps make the website smarter for other users who visit from your same area. |

| Q. |
What is the world map on the homepage all about? |
| A. |
The world map is a visual representation of where we've visited to date. Everytime someone loads the website, a dot will be plotted based on the latitude and longitude as determined by their IP address. It is not as accurate as when you enter yourself to be counted. |

| Q. |
How are you able to pinpoint locations? |
| A. |
We began by using the IP address database from Hostip.info. This allows us to view your IP address and then 'guess' where you are from based on information already in the database. However, it is only a guess. We need you to get counted in order to make the information more accurate to help us achieve our goal! |

| Q. |
Are you actually visiting each country? |
| A. |
No, we are not visiting each country. We are determining the country of origin for each person who visits our website and counting that as a 'visit'. |
| |
| Q. |
Who are you? Why are you doing this? |
| A. |
We're a small web firm in Vancouver, BC, Canada who love new ideas and creating unique solutions. Who are you? |
| |
| Q. |
What happens after 90 days are up? |
| A. |
The short term goal is to see how many countries we can visit in 90 days. After 90 days have passed, we plan to keep the website online to see how many hits we can amass total. |

| Q. |
What is a tracking code? What are they used for? |
| A. |
A tracking code is the same as a referral code - a friend might have sent you a tracking code to use when you sign up to be counted. This just allows your friend to see that you signed up under (or because) of them. Everyone who signs up to be counted is sent a tracking code. You can then send this code to friends so you can see who has signed up because you told them to. |
